First off I wanted to say Happy Birthday to Mr. Ian Somerhalder( who happens to share a birthday with my cousin Michelle, she's quite happy about that) Ian you should expect a birthday gift sometime in the spring when I have money to give to ISF.... sorry money is a little tight. As many of you are already aware, our beloved show The Vampire Diaries is on hyatus until January 5, 2012. Well we officially have 4 weeks left until a new episode and a few little hints have started to hit the air. When we return to Mystic Falls its going to be a bloodbath.
Executive producer Julie Plec comment to "tvline.com" “When the show returns [on Jan. 5], Stefan has been MIA since he stole Klaus’s family coffins, but we’ll learn he’s been busy trying to figure out a way to stay one step ahead of Klaus. When Elena and Damon finally have the opportunity to confront him about his recent actions, his response makes Damon think twice about acting on his feelings for Elena.”
We also found out early this week that Caroline will be celebrating her 18th birthday. Well actually everyone else will be, Caroline on the other hand will be sulking about how she is frozen at 17 forever. Elena, Bonnie, Matt will all try to cheer her up with a party, but we all know the parties in Mystic Falls never end well, just look at the beginning of this season with Elena's birthday.
and what of Klaus? well with his family all missing you can expect one pissed off hybrid and whats he planning? Just more shocking deaths, violent twists, and a furious hybrid dead-set on taking them out one by one in the most grotesque ways imaginable.

THE NEW PLAN
Comments: Who do you think Klaus is going after first to bring more pain to Mystic Falls?
1. Its the night of the Homecoming dance and Elena is formulating a plan with Damon to distroy Klaus once and for all. But she needs some help from her usual possy, including Bonnie, Caroline, Matt, possibly Jeremy, Alaric, and get ready for it... Stefan.
2. Rebekah opens up to Elena about why she wants the night to go perfectly, Rebecca wants an ordinary human "right of passage" night out with Stefan at the dance, leaving Elena with conflicting emotions.
3. Caroline and Matt are both shocked at Tyler's behavior throughout the evening. We haven't seen much of Tyler lately, but Im guessing that his new found bond to Klaus still has him living up the lifestyle, and making life dangerous for everyone who is near.
4. The night takes a surreal turn when Klaus puts his latest plan into action. Bringing out his newly made hybrid army to town, just in time to crash the homecoming dance, and to notice Rebecca and Stefan ignoring their tasks.
5. Determined to outsmart Klaus, Damon enters into a dangerous partnership with Michael, leading to Michael giving Damon the white ash dagger needed to kill Klaus. Only problem is Damon is a supernatural being, and only a simple human can wield the dagger and survive, so who will attempt at the stabbing? Elena, Alaric, Jeremy or Matt- since they seem to be the only humans in town.
6. Katherine makes an appearance in town with Michael at Klaus' new home, enraging him at the fact that Katherine managed to find Michael and that Michael has not yet slaughtered Katherine like the vampire killing vampire that he is. Klaus taunts Michael insisting he kill Katherine, while Michael is more interested in killing Klaus.

Alaric, Damon, Elena and Bonnie are in the lockwood tunnel investigating the hieroglyphs. Which they discover are a story all about the original vampires written in viking script. It gives all their names and tells the story of how to distroy them. Using a witch, sun, wolves, etc. So Elena and Alaric set out to find what they mean.
Rebecca is determined to kill Elena. She is SERIOUSLY pissed that Elena stole Stefan from her, even though Rebecca was technically buried for 3/4's of a century. Elena gets tortured and strangled a bit by her until Damon comes to the rescue.
Elena brings Damon in on the hopes of curing Stefan of Klaus' hold on him.
Damon tells Elena what he knows about curing Stefan and so on.
Damon tries a durastic approach with Stefan, and in comes an unlikely ally. Caroline's Dad maybe? or Sheriff Forbes.... Stefan escapes the cell.
Rebecca finally tells Damon and Elena what she knows about Klaus, Elijah and the rest of her family. FLASHBACKS :)
Sorry for not posting predictions this week, I was preoccupied reading
The Vampire Diaries: Hunters: Phantom --- worth the read, the ghost writer did an awesome job.
So many characters made cameo's in this episode as ghosts. Grams, Lexi, the vampires from the tomb, Anna's mom, Anna, and last but not least Mason. But where was Jenna? :(
So the episode starts off with Mason torturing Damon who is strapped to a chair... which he kinda deserved. Leading Stefan into the living room as Damon screams in pain he thought Stefan was inflicting.
Mason was standing in the room the whole time but since he's a ghost neither brother could see him, yet. So Stefan rips a chain off Damon allowing him to untangle himself, just as Mason pulls the curtain aside allowing the sun to hit him.
Well Its founders day again and all are in for the celebrations. Last founders day left the towns vampires burned in a basement. hope this one is better. :)
Bonnie is feeling pretty jealous and pissed that Jeremy is now seeing Anna, and he is kissing her. So she is venting to Caroline when Damon shows up PISSED that Mason is back and trying to kill him. Bonnie and Caroline confront Matt to see if he is still seeing Vicki. Which he isn't, when he leaves Bonnie's grimoir opens to a page, not a witches cookie recipe but a spell to get rid of them, for good. So bonnie and Caroline head up to the old witch house to do the spell. When they get there Bonnie starts to do her thing, and Caroline is freaked out a bit. Then Grams shows up :) But she has news for bonnie from the other side. Bonnie has upset the balance of nature and she needs to set it right. In order to do so she needs her talisman, Elena's/Rebecca's necklace. Caroline tells Bonnie that Jeremy kissed Anna, and that they are more set then ever on finding the necklace to get rid of the ghosts. Jeremy calls Bonnie and Caroline answers the phone, they still haven't found the necklace and they are blaming Anna for stealing it. Jeremy defends her, making Bonnie and Caroline even more mad at him. Jeremy goes to Elena and she agrees with Caroline, Anna took the necklace because she is the only one who herd where the necklace was. She took it and Jeremy lets go of Anna for the last time. Just as Caroline gets the necklace from Elena. Bonnie does the spell with her Grams and the necklace disappears. Caroline saves Mrs. Lockwood from the tomb vampires. Bonnie tells Jeremy to go, even though Jeremy says sorry. The Necklace reappears.
Elena wants Jeremy to try and contact Lexi to help with bringing Stefan's humanity back while Stefan drops in for lunch with Elena, Jeremy and Alaric. he reads his own diary and laughs everything off in his now bad boy attitude. Jeremy goes to the washroom kisses Anna, and Elena walks in on them. During the founders announcements the tomb vampire shows up and wants to finish his unfinished business with the founding families. Then they find the head history teacher, hanging from a tree.
Damon goes to Alaric for help with Mason. Once Mason is able to talk to Damon and Alaric, he asks for and apology from Damon, then invites him to the Lockwood cellar. "Come alone". SO he goes and meets him, they find a secret passage way but just as they get to the end and they get to see the secret in a room Damon can't enter. Mason disappears, so He calls Alaric to come and meet him in the Tunnels. They get to the end and Alaric sees some hieroglyphics.
Lexi shows up to confront Stefan, and she is set on fixing him. And she doesn't believe his lies. Lexi finds Elena to have her see exactly what she is up for when it comes to helping Stefan.Stefan wakes up strapped to a chair. In what looks like the same place Caroline was held by her dad. Lexi warns Elena it wont be pretty. Then she gets into Stefan and hurts him with her eyes? The torture continues for a while. Stefan starts to beg Elena to help him because he is hurting, she refuses to help him. Stefan spews out a few raging screams against Elena. Lexi tells Elena its just the ripper talking, and Elena runs out into the street to see how founders day was ruined yet again. She heads back downstairs and into the holding sell for Stefan. Elena tells Lexi to fly free, she knows what to do, she tells Stefan that she wont continue to love a ghost for the rest of her life. She still has hope but for how long?

4. Anna finds her mom and they go away peacefully. So does Grams, And Lexi.
5. Damon apologizes to Alaric for killing him.
Stefan is back in town on assignment from Klaus to watch over the doppelganger while he continues to make his hybrids with Elena's blood.
Problem is Klaus has lost all his trust in Stefan with all the lies and deceit so, he decides to leave his sister Rebbecca behind to watch over Stefan and make sure he doesn't get too close to Elena again.
Stefan is high on human blood once again. And he has lost all of his humanity BUT Elena still hasn't given up on making him feel for her. She is trying to get his attention in any way possible. Including indangering herself in the process.
Elena has also decided she wants to lock Stefan up, to protect the town... Especially after he has an angry confrontation with Alaric.
Damon is seriously pissed. He finally got to be the hero in Elena's eyes then what happens, Stefan returns and he is living in the house. So what does that mean for Damon, well he's decided to get even closer to Elena in any way possible to bother his brother.
With all that happened on senior prank night everyone is trying to cope with what happened. Well everyone but Tyler who is just a little too happy for the rest of his friends. He may also get into a bad fight with Caroline when she see's him with Rebbecca. Who was left behind to monitor him aswell.
Matt is feeling really awkward after drowning in the pool. Seeing his sister Vicki is beginning to really freak him out, so he asks bonnie to help fix him.
Elena is asking Alaric and Damon for training to help protect herself from her ex vampire boyfriend. Goodluck Elena. At least she has those two left to protect her.
Episode 305 THE RECKONING was full of surprises and twists. So many so that I was laughing hysterically at some points from how much I couldn't have possibly guessed had happened.
Surprising moments of the night
Klaus finds Elena VERY early on in the episode, capturing her and forcing her to watch all the tortous things he can manage. Including taking Stefan's humanity and forcing him to feed on her.
Katherine captured Jeremy and had him in the trunk of the car while her and Damon were driving around aimlessly waiting for Jeremy to wake up and contact Anna, the only other person besides Katherine Pearl ever told about Michael (the only person who can kill Klaus for good)
Bonnie is also found by Klaus and has 20 minutes to find a spell to make his hybrids work. Before Klaus kills Tyler.
Matt drowns himself so that he can see Vicki and help Bonnie with her spell. So I guess he is a ghost seer now too since he also saw her again after his dream while unconsious.
Tyler was the first Hybrid created by Klaus that lived through the transition.
Damon leaves Katherine with Jeremy to find a vampire and vampire hunter named Michael while he goes to save the day yet again. :)
Damon vows to never leave Elena alone again, to always protect her
MY FAVORITE of the night, Damon is handing Elena back the necklace and having quite an emotional moment with her when Stefan walks in the door. Klaus has left him behind to watch Elena while he makes his army.
Elena is now under Stefans protection.
Elena doesnt have to be dead for the hybrids to work. Klaus justs needs her blood to complete the transition.

Well, Stefan is back in Mystic falls and it's simply a matter of time before Klaus, Rebecca and Stefan have a run in with our most loved Mystic falls resident, Elena. The question is when will Klaus make Elena aware that he knows she isn't dead? Watch the preview and read my predictions to find out what may be happening in Mystic Falls.

Predictions
1.Katherine wants Damon to accompany her on a road trip involving the necklace, but she wont tell him where they are headed. Chicago, Richmond, Georgia? Take your pick
2.One thing is for sure, judging by the preview things get pretty hot and heavy between Katherine and Damon on the road, but Damon isn't allowing Katherine to play her little games on him this time. He wants in on whatever she knows.
3.Katherine also informs Damon about Jeremy's ghostly abilities leading Damon to "ask" Jeremy to search for some hints on how to defeat Klaus.
4.Leading us to the school, Alaric is having some kind of meeting in his classroom with Bonnie, Elena, Caroline, Tyler, Matt and possibly Jeremy as well. most likely Involving Klaus being back in town and the best way to protect everyone especially Elena from him.
5.Klaus takes Stefan on a trip down memory lane... to the grill, his house and the school. Rebecca overhears the conversation in Alaric's classroom. Caroline and Tyler sense something is up and check it out. And well Caroline meets the new girl.
6.Caroline's run in with Rebecca doesn't go well and Elena is warned the Original is back in town. But how should she escape? And who will be there to save her?
7.Rebecca finds out some privileged information, from overhearing in the class and she announces to Stefan and possibly Klaus that Elena is alive.
8.Klaus is just as sadistic if not more than before, but this time he has taken it too far. When he has a run in with Elena in the school hallways, and decides to mix things up a bit and allow Stefan to kill her, but wait he only has 9 minutes to do so or have it done for him... Poor Stefan.
9.BIGGEST PREDICTION
When Klaus runs into Elena (in the school hallway) he really finds Katherine instead, being a VERY good actress. When he leaves Stefan to kill her with the 9 minutes counting down Stefan gives into the feed, and very quickly realizes that he is not killing Elena but Katherine instead.
SPOILER ALERT: Don’t read this post or the comments until you’ve watched Vampire Diaries episode 3.04, “Disturbing Behavior.”
After last week’s glamorous and glorious trip down memory lane, Vampire Diaries decided episode 3.04 would be different. So the hookups, hurt and searching were scrapped for an extra serving of torture. Because nothing is more fun than being sliced open by a witch and having Klaus realize that Stefan was hiding a secret!
Well Stefans little secret is beginning to take a tole as Gloria is getting closer and closer to finding the necklace, But as it seemed she needed Stefan to figure out the rest of the puzzle. Well with a little slicing of the rists, some blood, vervain and torture later Gloria managed to find out who that girl was. Elena.
She discovered she was the doppelganger, that Stefan loves her, he would do anything to protect her. And then Katherine steps in says things are looking creepy and stabs Gloria in the back, hence erasing that problem. Until Stefan went and blew it again by sticking his nose into Klaus' untrustworthy business.
Well Its become obvious that Klaus has trust issues. One minute he is talking about how he and Stefan were all "buddy Buddy" in the twenties, and the next he is knocking Stefan unconsious all because of a doubt that Rebecca had.
Stefan has done so much to protect Elena but it hasn’t been enough because the Klaus continues to be two or three steps ahead. IF Klaus discovers that the doppelganger is alive is a terrifying idea!!! One thing is for sure, if he finds out she is alive he will do all that is in his power to ensure that she stays dead the second time around. Unfortunately, Stefan’s attempts to keep Klaus away from Elena seemed to have failed…because at the end of episode 3.04 Klaus treated Stefan to a getaway to none other then…dun dun dun…Mystic Falls. ( Welcome home Stefan)
Meanwhile on the Damon front, Damon seems to be doing all he can to keep Stefan off of Elena's mind. Fearing that her breaking point his near. Little did he know it was his own breaking point that was on its way. Its the Chili fest in Mystic Falls and Damon is helping Elena cook. (there little nudge was so cute) and Alaric isnt seeming to happy that Damon is getting so... comfortable, with Elena. And as it seems Bonnie and Caroline feel the same way. Damon gets angry at Elena for her wanting him to change his ways and well Damon temporarily kills Alaric out of rage and starts a fight with Carolines dad Bill. Which led to my favorite OMG moment, The damon/ Caroline fight. Damon may be stronger but Caroline was a whole lot angrier, and she had reason.
This left Damon back at square one, with all of his "family" hating him yet again. So whats the next logical move... a trip? with who? none other then Katerina Petrova.
Jeremy also surprised me this episode by telling Bonnie the truth about the ghosts, a good move? well have to wait and see.
What did you consider the most insane moment from “Disturbing Behavior?
Well this season sure has started off with a lot of pain whether it be self conflicting or laid on by your ever so favorite vampire, things sure are getting hot in Mystic Falls. Trust me I know how frustrating it is sitting at home waiting for THURSDAY so that I can sit down at 8o'clock and watch The Vampire Diaries but unfortunately every day is not Thursday. Now now loyal fans, this blog has been created especially for those of you who can't go a whole week without thinking of Mystic Falls and wanting to get there opinion out there. So here we go:
episode 3.03 RECAP-The End Of The Affair
Caroline is being tortured by her father Bill in a cellar with the sun and ultimately gets rescued by Tyler and her mom Liz. We discovered Stefan was friends with Klaus, and dated his sister Rebecca. Stefan refuses to be any part of Elena's life to her face but is still doing everything in his power to protect her, to him means keeping her as far away from Klaus as possible. Which is proving to be quite difficult with Damon bringing her along all the time. This finally gets them both into some serious trouble when Damon leaves Elena at Stefan's 1920's apartment and she almost has a run in with Klaus. This apartment happens to be in Chicago. At Gloria's bar, a hangout still standing from the 1920's, Damon gives Elena 5 minutes with Stefan outside Gloria's while he sat inside the bar with Klaus getting beaten. During their 5 minutes Elena tries to stab Stefan with a vervain needle while hugging him and telling him to come home, which doesn't work. Stefan tells Elena that he is never coming home " I don't want to see you, I don't want to be with you, I just want you to go" so much for a romantic 5 minutes. Katherine makes an appearance in the episode calling Damon to tell him where Stefan is, so is she following them? Katherine also happened to be at Gloria's bar in the 20's when it was raided, when Klaus made Stefan forget they were friends, when Stefan found Elena's necklace. leading us right into episode 4.

What the preview shows/my predictions
1.Damon wants Elena to give up the necklace
A) Stefan call and ask him to get it back for him
B) Katherine warning Damon that soon all will be coming back to Mystic Falls to get Elena's necklace.
2.Alaric tells Damon to take a break from Elena
A) because Elena got mad at Damon for wanting the necklace and Alaric is playing the Dad roll
B)Alaric is hoping that if he and Damon don't help Elena, she may just give up on bringing Stefan home
4.Katherine Confronts Stefan
A) Stefan is in trouble, he knows its just a matter of time before Gloria finds out about the necklace and possibly even that Elena is still alive, so who is going to come to his rescue... Katherine?
B) Katherine was also in Chicago, or at least she is now, and she knows about the necklace, in fact she is the only one who knows that Stefan picked up Rebecca's necklace in Gloria's bar that night. My guess, she is there to warn Stefan about how Gloria is very powerful and that sooner or later Klaus, Gloria and Rebecca are all going to know that Elena has the necklace, bringing us back to #1.
5.Stefan and Rebecca's romance is heating up, Stefan remembers all about his past with her and her brother Nick(Klaus) and well the romance is brewing, but Stefan is hiding something, his knowledge of the necklace leading us to #6.
6.Gloria is getting as much info as she can for Klaus about his hybrid problem but she says she is in need of Stefan's help to track down Klaus' problemed plan to make a hybrid army... again my guess is the necklace.
7.Caroline and Tylerare hooking up again, but Caroline is still hurting from the way her father treated her. She deep down is hurting like hell, but ultimately puts on a happy face to help Elena feel better.
8.Damon 1) a new enemy in town (guess who) and Damon is lashing out furiously...Bringing lasting consequences. With who... Elena, Alaric, Katherine, Bill, Stefan, Rebecca, Gloria, Bonnie?
2) is back to self loathing and probably killing some new girl in town, which of course Elena will notice bringing them to having a fallout yet again.
3) Damon is doing all he can to help Elena bring Stefan home, which in my opinion is just what Damon knows Stefan will not do, ultimately pushing Elena right into Damon's open arms, but not quite yet she needs to be alone first.
9.Elenadecides to take a break from boys for a while.

The producers and others involved with "The Vampire Diaries" are calling this season, the season of the originals. And from what we have seen so far this season they sure are pulling out daggers quick from Klaus' family members.
A quick recap on season 3
Elena has been searching for Stefan in an attempt to make him remember his humanity and come home to Mystic Falls. So far she has had no such luck and is involving Damon in her plans, which of course is putting them both into some serious danger. Especially when it came to the attempted hybrids Klaus was conjuring up, going to Chicago and leaving Elena in the old apartment, Damon throwing himself in front of Klaus, just to allow Elena 5 minutes with Stefan. Those 5 minutes ended up hurting her more then she had ever imagined not only did she try to stab Stefan with vervain but he told her to get out of his life. Now that Stefan has broken Elena's heart, and pushed her right into Damon's arms, as well as gotten his oh so fond memories with Nick and Rebecca back, will he betray Elena?
Back home we have Jeremy, who oddly after being brought back to life by Bonnie is seeing his two dead girlfriends Anna and Vicki, but who should he trust? Neither in my opinion, but we will see how that goes. Thus far Bonnie hasn't been in the show, other than that Skype call she did with Jeremy, so my guess is this week she will be making a very interesting appearance. As we all know Jeremy is NOT going to tell Bonnie about the ghosts, can you imagine " Hi bonnie, nice to see you since you have been gone all summer, by the way, when you brought me back to life i started seeing my dead ex's," not going to go down so well. So instead Jeremy has confided in Matt, Matt is the only other person who would understand and respect what Jeremy is trying to do, but will that prevent Matt from telling Bonnie about what is happening. My guess is nearer to the end of the season when Jeremy gets in way too deep with these two ghosts.
Meanwhile we have Caroline, who is wishing she never snuck out of Tyler's bed, since none other then her father of all people had been torturing her. Caroline's problems are definitely far from over, her father is a vampire hunter, and even though Tyler and her mom Liz have saved her this time, you can be sure to expect more of hunter Bill over the course of the season, Possibly becoming friends with Alaric?
Last but not least we have Stefan and Klaus who knows that something with his hybrid army is going very wrong, but what is it I wonder? He has gone in search of Gloria, a very powerful witch who should be able to tell him why his army can't be manifested, but Gloria needs something from Klaus, his sister Rebecca. So Klaus brings Rebecca back from the dead, and we also learn that Rebecca and Stefan were lovers long ago, and Klaus made Stefan forget, until he finally reminds him of his past possibly bringing out more of Stefan's ripper side then before since he can remember now.
Hello world Basically this blog has been created for me and all of the fans out there to express what they may think or feel will be coming up in the novels or in the television series. let me tell you a little about me,
My name is Marlaina and I am a HUGE Vampire Diaries fan. From reading the original series by L.J. Smith when I was 14, to deciding to watch the show when I was 19 and busy with college. Then reading the new stefans diaries series on the train, which in my opinion is not nearly as good as the original 7 books. I am a loyal follower of the series and continuously am trying to keep up with the websites that seem to have loads of info into the show and books.
Personally out of anything I love the books more then anything else. (not to undermind the show, because the show is AWESOME!!!) They remind me of my adolesence and the humor, loyalty, romance, passion, friendship, heroism and trust that was so clearly identified from the books became something that got me through a difficult time in my life.Anyways enough about me, back to the blogging
